A DOWN-TO-EARTH THERAPIST FOR THE MAN WHO WANTS skills TO HEAL

Hard on yourself? Let me teach you how to lower anxiety and increase confidence.

You have everything you need inside to let go of your self destructive patterns. Let’s find your strengths and anchor them in for life.

On the surface, you seem happy…

Your friends and family think you have it all together. You’re successful. You can handle it. You smile a lot. Yet underneath it all:

  • Your partner feels so far away.

  • You’re bracing for the sh**t to hit the fan.

  • You don’t want to burden anyone with your feelings.

  • There’s an angry part of you that your family doesn’t understand and a vulnerable part that is too scary to feel.

As a therapist in Pasadena, I help men who struggle with anxiety and perfectionism.

Therapist in Pasadena, CA

I’m Greg and I can help.

I became a therapist because I’ve had 40+ years of practice being a human male and I’ve learned a few things:

Growing up as a guy is rough (yes we’re allowed to say that).

Around middle school, I was taught to stop hugging my guy friends. In high school, it was “man up! walk it off! grow a pair!”. Anger was cool. Sadness was sooo not cool. And yet there was sadness.

It does get better when you find the right person you can trust.

I’m still learning, but now I express love to guy friends, lean into sadness and (try to) ask for my needs even when it’s scary.

I will teach you skills to help you calm your body, find your voice, and step into power. Vulnerability is not weakness. Let me show you how to be strong and vulnerable.

WHAT WE DO

Looking for Answers?

Use descriptive language to paint a picture of the pain and discomfort your potential patients or clients may be experiencing. This can include specific symptoms, such as fatigue, digestive issues, or chronic pain.

Highlight the impact these are having on their daily lives. Describe how their symptoms are preventing them from doing the things they love. This may include missing work, canceling plans, or avoiding social situations due to pain or discomfort.

Tap into your clients' feelings about their health issues to show them you understand where they are and what they’re experiencing. But be careful not to overdo it or use scare tactics. A hopeful, encouraging tone is best to establish trust.
